NX5 & UFUNC error...

NX5 & UFUNC error...

NX5 & UFUNC error...

(OP)
When trying to get Vericut and RCS to interface w/NX 5, we get an error message to the effect that a UFUNC executable license could not be found.  However, per our Siemens sales rep, UFUNC was no longer available since NX4.

Has anyone run across this? If so, what's the solution?  As I understand it, the Open API interface is the 3rd party interface so it's confuses me why the 3rd parties are calling for UFUNC.  Can anyone shed a bit of light on this?

I can post the error message if req'd....
TIA...

Regards,
SS

CAD should pay for itself, shouldn't it?

RE: NX5 & UFUNC error...

... when you have an author($$) licence you have to recompile the source include a signing header, compile it new and sign it it with nxsign from the open folder...
- ask Vericut/RCS they should offer this service to you.
