How do you save visualation preferences etc.

How do you save visualation preferences etc.

How do you save visualation preferences etc.

(OP)
I have to keep setting the "rotation point delay" (Found in Preferences, Visualtion preferences) everytime I come into NX6.  Is there a way to save all the settings etc. so that they auto load next time you restart nx?

I can't seem to find anything in help.

RE: How do you save visualation preferences etc.

If I'm not mistaken, those settings are saved in your seed parts.  So open the seed parts, make the appropriate changes, then save.

RE: How do you save visualation preferences etc.

hey, that's neat.  I didn't know how to change the rotation point delay.  Setting the delay to a shorter time makes the system feel snappier.

Thanks, wadec.

RE: How do you save visualation preferences etc.

'Rotation Point Delay' is NOT 'Part Specific' but rather 'Session Specific' and so if you wish to change the out-of-the-box default value, you will need to go to...

File -> Utilities -> Customer Defaults -> Gateway -> Visualization -> View/Screen

...and change it there and restart NX.
