Patching Concrete Airfields

Patching Concrete Airfields

Patching Concrete Airfields

(OP)
Question to all.  What is the best method for patching small (spalls) patches on an concrete airfield.  Givin the area does not have to be open in a hurry no extream weather conditions just the best fix for patches 3" in depth with an average area of 2-4 sf.  I have used epoxy with clean aggregates, high strength concrete, quick set materials and many other types of fixes.  Just wanting some input.  Any input would be appreciated.

RE: Patching Concrete Airfields

I would use a high quality polymer modified concrete.  Sika has several very good products as do some other manufacturers.  Epoxies have higher expansion coefficient that can sometime be a bit of a problem with temperature extremes.
