Hi all,

I've got a quick question; how are bi-metallic strips formed ? Laser welding ?  Cold/Hot rolling ? Plasma spray ?

Thanks for any help.

RE: Bi-metallic strip fabrication

Bimetallic strips are produced by cold rolling, specifically roll cladding or roll bonding.  The following website has a brief description of the process:

Thanks, I thought it was probably cold rolling, but that was just an assumption. I appreciate a definite answer (plus the web site).
