Floating license?
Floating license?
(OP)
We have as many licenses as users, but have a couple "extra" workstations. All license data is on the FlexLM server.
It seems I have to open the nx licensing tool on my workstation, release my license, then go to another workstation and add the license. As we don't have any extra licenses, I need to do this every time we have a design review in the conference room.
Whats the fix? And don't tell me its not a problem!

RE: Floating license?
Yes, it appears they are all bundles (drafting, assemblies, etc):
P1 std. bundle
P2 std. bundle
P3 std. bundle plus moldwizard
P4 moldwizard
P5 moldwizard
Rather messy it seems.

RE: Floating license?
If this is how you're trying to do this but it still doesn't work as I've described it above, then you will need to contact GTAC and have them look more closely at the way you've set up the license server.
