+Hot / Cold Insulation for Expansion Bellows?
+Hot / Cold Insulation for Expansion Bellows?
(OP)
Dear colleagues:
We have been asked to develop details for insulating expansion bellows for one of our clients.
The hot service expansion bellows seems to be easier to solve, you can even find providers who supplies some kind of covers for that purpose.
The more difficult solution is for the cryogenic services where the insulation is solid (polyurethane).
If someone have a past similar experience or any information/suggestion about a detail or a provider Please let me know.
Regards,
Hansito

I appreciated the pfd very much and also your suggestion.
For the cryogenic case I believe that we may have Ice formed on from the welded rings that you mentioned, and passing to the outer bellow. It can be a good idea anyawy and I will think about it.
