PDF Missing Objects

PDF Missing Objects

PDF Missing Objects

(OP)
AutoCAD 2006 running on Windows XP, Acrobat 5 PDF Writter.

We have noticed that some of the PDF's that we have created lately using the
PDF writer are missing some of the drawing. There are random pieces of text
and lines that are missing in the PDF. The drawings print fine to our HP
plotter.

Any thoughts

RE: PDF Missing Objects

I use either PDF995 or ADOBE with great success.

RE: PDF Missing Objects

Upgrade your Adobe

RE: PDF Missing Objects

I have found that printing through the Adobe driver sometimes does not make a complete print and sometimes actually ADDS lines where they do not belong.  So, I always check for missing information and if there are extra lines I find that if I explode nearby polylines the extra lines go away.  I have tried other pdf printers but none has done better for me than Adobe.
