I am installing a granulator that weighs about 7000 lbs. The granulator manufacturer calls for a concrete pressure resistance of 30 N/mm^2(4350 psi). I was going to specify 5000 psi concrete, but was not sure of the thickness needed or the amount of rebar needed? Any suggestions?

RE: concrete pad

does the granulator have any vibration to it? How is the granulator supported, legs, or a flat base?

RE: concrete pad

Yes. It will have vibration, but it does have vibration dampeners on the legs. There are a total of 10 legs. The granulator is approx. 8' x 5', so I was thinking 6' x 10' for the pad.
