Removing fillet edges in drawings

Removing fillet edges in drawings

Removing fillet edges in drawings

(OP)
Hi all, quick question:

When I create drawings from parts that have a lot of fillets, the edges of the fillets are imported into the drawings. Is there any way to stop this happening other than to use the 'hide edge' button to manually remove each one?

Thanks

RE: Removing fillet edges in drawings

If you mean the line that is displaying the tangent edge of a fillet, just right click somewhere in the view and under "tangent edges", choose "tangent edges removed".  This will apply to the whole view.

RMB the drawing view and select "Tangent Edges."  You are given three options for how they can be displayed.  This can also be set at the template level.

sixmillionways,

Are you talking about the tangent edges?

You have the option on each view, of not showing these.

You can also setup a drawing configuration and suppress all of your fillets. They won't import at all into the drawing if you do that.
