93XM

93XM

(OP)
Would any body know what does 93XM mean and where can I find more info on this? It is engraved on a PVC electrical outlet box (for concrete walls) and its supposed to be a Fire Resistance Rating. Thanks.

RE: 93XM

No idea. Never heard of it.

Could be a manufacturer's part number, tool number, date code, etc. Is it actually engraved or moulded in (commonly as raised lettering, but not necessarily)

PVC is inherently flame retardant and good for UV too. Hence it's use for guttering, fascias, electrical stuff.

Cheers
