Anti torsion cables used in sailing and other applications

Does anyone have any experience with anti torsion cables as seen used in some sailing furlers?
They are generally made from materials such as Aramid, Kevlar or Carbon Fiber. Their purpose is to transfer torque through the cable with minimal twist. From my understanding, they are also used as mooring lines for marine applications and bridge stays.
Smart Rigging, Easy Rigging, and FibreMax are three manufacturers of these anti torsion cables and it appears they are all the same company just split into different divisions.
We interested in learning if someone else has seen these cables in use and whether or not there are any other companies that manufacture these types of cables.
