Catia Drafting Graphics Problem

Catia Drafting Graphics Problem

Catia Drafting Graphics Problem

(OP)
There is an annoying issue with Catia v5 drafting.
When I update a model the no-shown entities re-appear
in selected views on drafting side. Is there some way to
rectify this?
Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Catia Drafting Graphics Problem

*Hidden* elements will move back to *Shown* on Rebuild.

If you want them to stay off you have to change the *Properties*. I can't remember for sure, maybe there's a *None* choice for linetype? Just check out the Properties Menu and you should be able to figure it out.

RE: Catia Drafting Graphics Problem

How did you hide them in the first place? Can you in some short words describe what you have done and what you expect get out of it? So nobody has to be tied up in a certain method and could propose other ways

RE: Catia Drafting Graphics Problem

If you need some wireframe/point data hidden, and others shown, move the hideable stuff to another geometric set and hide that set in the model.  The view update will work fine after that.  If you're working with an assembly, have the product open in session.  This would be a solution if you need to show some components in one view but not the rest.  In the drawing, shift pick all the views, RMB -> Properties.  In the middle of the form will be the Lock View click.  All the views will remain as-is until you unlock each one.  Unlock one view at a time and complete your work in that view, then go back and lock them.  There's a couple ideas for ya.
