Crosshatching Tube - NX4

Crosshatching Tube - NX4

Crosshatching Tube - NX4

(OP)
Hello Everyone,

I´m trying to do a crosshatching like the showed in the picture attached.
I´m not pretty sure if is truly a crosshatching because when I double click on it nothing happens.
In the expand member view, when I double click on it appears the properties of a parasolid.
All of this is in the drafting.
I hope someone could help me!
Thanks a lot
Regards

RE: Crosshatching Tube - NX4

That's not 'Crosshatching' but rather U,V grid display.

First turn shading completely OFF (that means go to Static Wireframe display mode, but you can set Hidden Edges 'Invisible') and then go to...

Edit -> Object Display...

...and if want to apply the same density of grid on all faces of the model just select the Body otherwise select only the FACES that you want to edit, and when the dialog comes up, go to the 'Wireframe Display' section and set the U and V grid to your desired values (start with 10 x 10 and see how that looks).

If you wish to edit it you will need to repeat the above steps.
