Exporting a SW09 assembly to parasolid?

Exporting a SW09 assembly to parasolid?

Exporting a SW09 assembly to parasolid?

(OP)
I have a SW09 assembly I want to export as a parasolid.  Somewhere I read that if I export the assembly file, the associated part files would all export as well (saving me the trouble of having to export each one individually).  That isn't working though.  Did I misunderstand, or there a different process for doing this (other than using "save as" to export the assembly file)?

Thanks, -Pat

RE: Exporting a SW09 assembly to parasolid?

When you export a parasolid from an assembly it puts everything into one single parasolid file.  When it's later imported, either back into SW or some other package, the import process saves each part back out into its own file.

Thanks for the clarification.  So maybe this was working correctly.  I guess I'll try importing and see what happens.
