Any thoughts on how support will be for ALGOR now that they have been acquired by AutoDesk?  Do you think that AutoDesk will support the multi year service contracts that were made by ALGOR just before the sale? Will AutoDesk do this without adding additional conditions.

I'm pretty sure they are contractually obligated to honor previous agreements.  Not only that, but I suspect that Algor is actually a pretty small part of AutoDesk's sales.  Acquiring Algor was their way of trying to keep up with Dessault's acquisition of Ansys? Or was it Abaqus?  Of course, they already had Cosmos, but everyone seems to be coupling CAD with FEA...I guess, everyone except me...I prefer to keep them separate.
