Need information on available backwater valves for 15" RCP storm water drain that runs into tidal canal. Also appreciate advice on where to install valve -- outlet? in-line? 15" RCP line pitches approx. 4"/100ft. x 300ft total run.

Good advice -- Thanks! Local engineer is proposing Tideflex TF-1; and that will work at the outlet into the tidal canal.

RE: Backflow Prevention Large Diameter Storm Sewer

We have implemented Tideflex valves in a number of our projects.  In our local, flap valves tend to get obstructed with debris and fail to close.
