using SW properties and Windows keyword properties?

(OP)
I'm trying to use the Solid Works search function to find files on my local drive. All of my files have a simple dumb file name but all of their property "description" fields have been populated with inteligent searchable data.
How can I map or transfer the SolidWorks description properties to the Windows Keywords description property so they are the same? If they don't talk to each other how does the search function help me?

Also,
When searching the solidworks PDM Workgroup Vault using the advanced search dialog box, is there a way to to get custom properties to show up in the list?

Thanks,
Tom
