Has anyone had any success in using the advanced machining portion of V5. The shop I work in seems to be having a bit of trouble.

RE: Advanced Machining

I've personally used it for many years now and have several associates that also have had good luck with it.  It does have many "hidden" functions that can cause some problems when getting acquainted with the system.

Anything specific that seems to give you trouble ?

Actually, is there any really good websites that offer help or anything????

RE: Advanced Machining

The best way to learn how to use CATIA is by taking a class. Find a company that is certified. Have their instructor come to your shop and teach you and your coworkers how to use the workbench based on the type of parts you work with. The inital cost will pay for itself in time and confidence.

That is what we all have been thinking... Now to get management on board with it. Thanks.
