Risa 3D reports

Risa 3D reports

(OP)
Does anyone know how to get a summary report in Risa 3D 8.0? I want to look at the member stresses in a simple frame but when I get the report I get the stresses for all the members and what I want is the max member stress and what load case causes this stress. I have used Visual before and liked the report summary where it gave you the highest stress for a single member and which load case gave you this stress.

RE: Risa 3D reports

I would run an envelope, then select the frame memebers that I was analyzing and exclude unselected from results. Then view the "Member forces" spreadsheet and all these members in this sheet should be the ones that you have selected with the minimum and maximum values with the load cases that gives you the min and max. Then to find the maximum stresses out of all the members I would sort the appropriate column (My, Mx) by either Min, Max or Absolute Max.
