Add Standard Configuration to Toolbox

Add Standard Configuration to Toolbox

(OP)
I am just tying to add a simple standard part to the toolbox.
I created a part file and added to the toolbox.

My Question is: How Can I add standard configuration to the part in Toolbox?

For example a pin.
Pin-1: Outside Diameter and Length.

Someone please post a detail description to make this working.

Thanks

RE: Add Standard Configuration to Toolbox

You will probably need to make your DB or copy of a standard (like ANSI). See Tools\OPtions\System Options\Hole Wizard/Toolbox

Then within the Toolbox configuration settings you can add more sizes to your specifications per your Database you copied. Because the DB is no longer locked.

If you want some thing that is step by step I would recommend you contact your VAR as the process can be extensive to your needs.

RE: Add Standard Configuration to Toolbox

Thanks Scott,

I managed to add a new DB and part in Toolbox 2009.
It is a DME Ejector Pin with/without lock pin.

My question now is:

How Can I remove the extra decimal points when it is added to the Assembly file? (See the attachment)
When it is displayed in Toolbox Configuration,it shows perfect.
It displays "EX17M6" in Toolbox but "EX17M6.000000" in assembly.

I tried everything, but doesn't work.
Someone please help.

Thanks
