Hole table order

Hole table order

Hole table order

(OP)
Does anyone know how to control the order that the hole table designates letter tags? I saw in an old thread where someone said it is driven by the order in which you select the holes. I have tried that about four times now and it hasn't worked yet. Can you change them after the table is created? 2008 sp4

RE: Hole table order

I think the order is based from the origin datum that you specify when selecting your edges when you first start the hole wizard.  I haven't used the wizard in SW08 yet, so I am not sure, I was unable to change them in SW07.

That is the same answer I just got from our VAR support guy.
It is frustrating because I would like to match our designations to that on a customer's drawing but can't short of manually recreating the whole table. Our programmers and inspection people expect us to match the customer's print to make their life easier.
