Anyone know what the difference between H-25 loading and HS-25 is? Thanks!

RE: H-25 loading versus HS-25

H-25 and HS-25 loading make assumptions on how point loads are distributed by two different types of trucks. One of the best discussions that I have seen is in this publication for timber bridges (starting on page 6-2)
http://www.fpl.fs.fed.us/wit/documents/em7700_8/em7700_8_chapter06.pdf

Note that the magnitude of the the loads may vary (15, 20 or 25 tons) but the load distribution proportions and diagrams are similar.
