Neutral file

(OP)
Hi gents,

I recover a .neu file and I don't know what it contains. After looking for information on the Internet, I think it is a neutral pro engineer file. Here are some lines of the files.

The first lines:
   -1

8.2,
   -1
   -1
   405
3,0,1,60,25,
<NULL>

The last lines:
Thu Jul 31 14:24:17 2008 -> Read ACIS Geometry from D:\MBO\April_May_June_2008\Units\2_m\XXXXXXX.XXX
Thu Jul 31 14:27:38 2008 -> Read ACIS Geometry from D:\MBO\April_May_June_2008\Units\2_m\XXXXXXX.XXX
Tue Aug 19 17:52:31 2008 -> Read ACIS Geometry from D:\MBO\July_August_2008\XXXXXXXXX.XXX
<NULL>
   -1

Is it possible to have the confirmation that it is really a neutre pro eng file?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Neutral file

I doubt it's a Pro/E neutral file due to the reference to ACIS Geometry.  Probably comes for a CAD package that uses the ACIS kernel.

RE: Neutral file

PTC usually writes the version of Pro/E that the file originated in near the top of the files. I agree, with the ACIS references, it may be an  Inventor or Mechanical Desktop file.
