in solid edge part file a right click on a part file does not produce a pop up to delete, rename etc:

RE: how to rename part in part file

Until recently icould open part files, select a part, right click on the part file and choose options to rename, delete, open, copy, etc; this is quite a convenience.

RE: how to rename part in part file

I still don't understand. When you say you could open etc, where from? Windows, SE ?

RE: how to rename part in part file

I guess he's talking about the Open File window.

casinjac, if you can't get the contextual menu in that window, is it gone from the windows explorer too?

RE: how to rename part in part file

(OP)
Yes.
I click on Open File, Open File Folder, right click on part nothing happens.
When I click on the same part in Explorer everthing works fine.
I have reinstalled Solid Edge ST. It still doesn't work.

RE: how to rename part in part file

My Right Click works OK from the File Open window, but that's V19.
Is it something to do with SEwST?

RE: how to rename part in part file

Is it really a SE problem? Have you tried in another application, say MS Office, to see if the problem replicates?

I haven't installed SEwST yet, but I'm pretty sure this should not happen. This is standard Windows behavior, all apps should comply with this.
