How to introduce a negative pressure in a pipe in ABAQUS?

How to introduce a negative pressure in a pipe in ABAQUS?

How to introduce a negative pressure in a pipe in ABAQUS?

(OP)
Hi
My friends

How Can I introduce a suction pressure in my axisymmetric pipe ( I mean without exerting the pressure in an adjacent surface since I want the pressure be an inherent property of the pipe itself and not to be exerted on something else and the pipe play the role of a mere rigid body cause the pressure boundary changes as the object is sucked in the pipe then I want the pressure be defined in the pipe itself rather than on the boundary of the objects) :) ?

Thanks a lot upon your opinions

P.S.

Of course I mean without any fluid flow in it.

Not sure what you mean, but have you tried putting a negative value in for pressure?

biofriend,

what about a positive pressure on the model after reversing element normals?

Thank Spirit,

But it is almost the same. What I mean is to devise a way in which the pressure exists in the pipe and the pipe tends to suck in everything placed near its opening rather than exerting the pressure on the model(object). this two are different as in the later the pressure boundary changes as the object moves in.
