How do I place notes in an annotation plane?

How do I place notes in an annotation plane?

(OP)
I understand how to place dimensions, geotols, etc in various annotation planes.  I cannot get "Notes" to display in different annotation planes.  They are always in the plane of the display.

RE: How do I place notes in an annotation plane?

In the Annotations Folder in the Feature Manager you can select the Annotation View you want to move the note to and Right Click.

Choose Edit Annotation View and you will be able to select items to move to the Annotation View. I believe this is shown on the second Tab for the annotation view.

You will be prompted to keep the items in their original view or move them to the new one.

I have tried the steps Michael suggested.  This works fine for dimensions and geometric tolerances but does not work for Notes.  Any other suggestions?

I found it!!  Under Tools, System Options, Display/Selection I had to uncheck the box for "Display notes flat to screen."
