Logarithmic to Engineering Shear Strain

Logarithmic to Engineering Shear Strain

(OP)
Hi Everyone,

I need to convert the logarithmic shear strains to engineering shear strain (gamma) for a plane strain analysis I've done in ABAQUS. I've requested the strain components (E) as field output, but ABAQUS didn't do it for some reason. I suppose it's because the problem was a large displacement one. Does anybody have any idea hot to convert logarithmic shear strain to engineering shear strain? Your help is very much appreciated!!
