Hello,

Is there a way to find features that are failing besides scrolling up and down the part navigator?

When I want to find suppressed features, I usually go to the command "unsuppress feature" and it would show me a list of suppressed features.

Is there something like this for features that fail?

TIA

RE: Part Navigator Options

OK, what you do is open the Part Navigator and in some 'white space' select MB3 and select the 'Filter Settings...' option.  In the 'Current' tab select the 'State' option in the 'Add Filter By' list box.  Then below that select the 'Unsuppressed' option and then select the '-' sign.  Now go back to the 'State' and select the 'Out of Date' option and then select the '+' sign.  Since filters are applied in the order shown in the list so make sure they are as whan them applied.  What you now have is a filter which will first hide ('-') all of the unsuppressed features and then show ('+') only those which have failed.

Note that you can save this filter so that it's will be available in the future.

Hello John,

Thanks for the reply.
When I save this filter, it would be part specific, yes?
Can I have a default filter so that whatever files I open, it is already available?

TIA

RE: Part Navigator Options

No, the filters are stored in the registry.  They are not stored in the part file.
