Is there a standard size?

Is there a standard size?

I was told to search for an extruded tube/pipe with an 8" dia. Is there a standard size for the ID or OD? I know it depends on the thickness, but is there a chart to view anywhere?

Thanks

RE: Is there a standard size?

You probably need to look at DOM (drawn over mandrel) pipe.  Any steel supplier should have literature with available sizes.

RE: Is there a standard size?

What material is required?  Are you looking for pipe or tube, or is only the OD important?  What application?  Help us to help you.
