Anyone tried Solid Jot?

Anyone tried Solid Jot?

RE: Anyone tried Solid Jot?

I'm using it and it works well. Ben and his programmer have done an excellent job of integration. It is something SW (or their VARs) should have done.

Ben has plans to include posting images and Pack and Go'ing files directly to SolidJott, which will be much better than the laborious method that SW uses on its forum.

I usually have Eng-Tips, forums.solidworks and SolidJott open in tabs in Firefox so will probably continue to use that method except when uploading.

It's very simple to install and definitely worth trying.

cheers

RE: Anyone tried Solid Jot?

I installed it this morning but it keeps bringing up C++ debug utility so im taking it off right now.

hopefully the next version they can get it together.

uGlay, Did you inform SolidJott about the problem you were having?

cheers

RE: Anyone tried Solid Jot?

How come you had the time to post here (twice), but not to SolidJott ... where it really matters. If SolidJott is not informed of the problem (which no-one else appears to have reported) how will they know they need to "get it together"?

cheers

RE: Anyone tried Solid Jot?

CBL,

Halleluiah and AMEN!!!  I see so many times on these boards that users have time to post over and over again about an issue they're experiencing and and even comment how it wasn't fixed in the most recent service pack.  Investigate with SolidWorks and it's never been reported.  Moral of the story...take the time to report your issue to the proper source so it gets some attention!
