NX6 crashes on Macpro running under bootcamp.

NX6 is crashing when I try to add a component under assemblies. Assemblies worked fine when I was using NX5. I have no apparent problems with other modules of NX6, such as, modeling and electrical data exchange. I am modeling circuit boards. Any suggestions?

NX6 is running fine on the Windows machines on our network.

RE: NX6 crashes on Macpro running under bootcamp.

Officially we don't support Bootcamp as a means of creating a Windows environment for NX to run in on an Intel-based Mac.  While we officially don't support them either, there are newer tools for loading and running Windows and Windows-based applications on Mac's which I've heard seems to work better then Bootcamp.  The two that come to mind are 'Parallels Desktop' and 'VMware Fusion'.

But remember, officially Siemens PLM does NOT yet support any Intel-based Mac configurations irrespective of the OS that you're running.

Thanks John...I have tried both the parallels and vm fusion but bootcamp always worked best for me.
