Pro/E - Copy Geom - Want to break relations
(OP)
Good Day Eng-Tips readers:
I have be copy geometry from one assembly to another and now I wish to retain the geometry but do not want to keep the relation.
I there a way to clean up my assembly so my assembly will stand on its own?
A puzzled Caper

RE: Pro/E - Copy Geom - Want to break relations
What you can do is make a shrinkwrap of the copy geom into a new model using the same coord sys for placement, then bring it in the model that you want to remove the real copygeom from.
Once you bring in the shrkwrp, then delete the real copygeom.

Did u try making the feature independent in the copygeom geometry. this gets detached from the assembly that u have taken the surfaces or whatever. the relation can even be taken back when needed by making it dependent.(if the assembly is opened in the session)
