Configuration specific material in drawings

Configuration specific material in drawings

(OP)
Hello All,

I have a part with 2 configurations which are set with specific materials.  When im creating a drawing I cant get the material to be configuration specific.  The material changes to the last active configuration.  Is there any way to make it configuration specific?

Cheers

Yes, and all the views are set to the same configuration.

RE: Configuration specific material in drawings

It works for me, but I have to hit the Rebuild button? Or select the view and Ctrl Q.

cheers

That only works when you have the same configuration active in the model  and drawing.  But when in the other configuration in the part,  hit ctrl Q it changes to the other material.  This shouldn't happen.

By the way im using SW09 SP01

RE: Configuration specific material in drawings

Nope ... I can change config in any drawing view no matter which config is active in the model.

cheers
