Assembly constraint

Assembly constraint

Assembly constraint

(OP)
when I use the coincident constraint i get an error like this

""""""This function works with the active component 9blue product) It positions child products relatively to other child products.""""

How do I make one of my components active, and assemble by components.

RE: Assembly constraint

Be sure you're at the top level.  To do that, double-click on the top level assembly in the Sec. Tree.  To make a component active, let's say you have a Product called "Assy", and three parts under it, "A", "B", and "C".  To activate part "A", hit the plus sign beside the "A" and double-click on the next "A".  You'll see the icons change from Product level to Part level features.  To get back to the top level, simply double-click on the top level "Assy" in the tree.
