Has anyone done a comparison of VPI treating windings in the vertical position verses in the horizontal position?  Which is better?  Why?

"The more readily resin can flow into insulation, the more readily it can also drain back out before being cured, leaving originally filled voids to become empty again. Such drainage begins as soon as the treated stator is lifted from the tank. Once it's in the curing oven, rising temperature begins to "gel" the resin, and runoff slows to a halt. One common practice to control runoff is to set the stator on roller within the oven, with slots horizontal, revolving it slowly as temperature builds up." See:
