Is it possible to move the plane while slicing the graphics? I know it can be done in  SolidWorks, and yes I know Inventor is not SW, what I want to do is is progressivly slice while live.

RE: Slice graphics

When you say, "move the plane" do you mean actually move a user created workplane (of course the origin workplanes cannot be moved)or do you really mean - move the section to a different plane?  I suspect that what you want to do is edit the part in context of an assembly file and drag the part through the assembly section plane to resemble SWx.

Be aware that in the ipt environment that Slice Graphics and New Cross Section Analysis are two different things.  Slice Graphics refers only to the sketch section plane.
