Create a Solid inside a shell

Create a Solid inside a shell

(OP)
Guys

I need to fill the inside of a shell with a solid. Please look at the attached assembly(19203_9205471-1, instance of 19203_9205471) which consists of two bags (9205470-1) plus the fill (9205471-1_mil-p-603218). Its such a nuisance to create a curve, then a surface, then merge, then solidify. So far i cant even create the curve

Btw, i am using Pro/E W3.0

Sometimes that's just the nature of things.

If you still need some help with it post your geometry in
neutral format and pic()s to elaborate if the ojbective
isn't obvious and I'll give you something close enough to
it that you should be able to figure it out from there.

Sure it's true. I saw it on the internet.

RE: Create a Solid inside a shell

I am not sure if this is what you are asking but hope it helps. I am at my home on vacation so all I can access is ProE student version so I can't open your commercial version models.
I assume you have a part that you shelled. I would create an empty assembly and then assemble by default coords the part that you created shelled. Now create a new empty part and assemble it into the assembly by default coords also. Now activate the empty part in the model tree of the assembly. Now create a copy geometry in the empty part of the intent shell of the first part you created. Now open the empty part you just created the copy geom into. Now select the copy geometry in the model tree of the empty part. Now solidify the copy geometry. Now your empty part should be a solid part with the definition of the shell of the first part you created.
Hope I helped and didn't make a fool of myself.
