Hard to find "standards"
Hard to find "standards"
(OP)
´m working on a hydraulic application where I need to design a coulping between a hydraulic motor and a chain saw sprocket. I´m amazed that not even the company who gave me the mission can help me with data on the splines used on close to all chainsaws of the world and all I can get from chainsaw manufacturers is that there are two major sizes available, "small" and "standard" both with 7 teeth. Can anyone out there help me with informations on, or where I can find dimensional specs. for at least the so called "standard" seven tooth spline.

Cannot be that complicated. They do it in China and
elsewhere as we all know.
