SO2 relief valve

SO2 relief valve

SO2 relief valve

(OP)
Here is the problem.  The facility I am working for does not have the national board number for a 30,000 pressurized sulfur dioxide vessel.

That is the first thing contractors ask for when we ask them to test its relief valve.  Then they also get squeamish because it is SO2.  They seem to do only anhydrous ammonia or LP, but no one will touch SO2.

Anyone have any tips?

RE: SO2 relief valve

So dangerous, so just do ex-situ test, bring it test at test shop.
