Yield Strength and Tensile Strength of 316 at Elevated Temps

(OP)
Hi,

Where can I find data on the yield strength and tensile strength of S31600 at around 258F?

Thanks,
Jesse

RE: Yield Strength and Tensile Strength of 316 at Elevated Temps

ASME SECTION II, Subpart D (Allowable Stresses) has the exactly the info you need.

Another option, if the material is in a solution annealed condition, and you know the product form, you can go to ASME B&PV Code, Section II, Part D, Table U and Table Y-1.
