RE: conversion shore hardness to British Standard softness
I have a conversion table to convert BSS (BS 2782) to Shore A (15 sec, ASTM 2240-68) which I picked up at a trade fair from the stall of a company called PORTEX LIMITED, which is a major PVC converter in England. I am sure they have an internet address, so you can contact them. If not, give me your Fax-No and I can fax the table to you.

Does anyone know where I can purchase siliconised PVC from, and possibly provide some information of the process.
p.s. Gambro, Could you please send me the conversion table you mentioned above. 01443 474222
thanks
Jenks

I tried to FAX you but it didn't work, probably because we don't live in the same country. Please tell me which country you live in or send me your country code so I can try again.

I tried to contact Portex. But is is very difficult to get the right person.
Can you fax the table, please?
Fax. no +31 20 6379535.
Thanks

In your scramble, did you happen upon a conversion table for UHMW hardness values? I would like to apply the formulas for bearing stress and depths of maximum stress but have the UHMW hardness in Rockwell R only? Did you come across a conversion from Rockwell R to Brinell?
Thanks
