GMPDL Checkmate Error
GMPDL Checkmate Error
(OP)
Hello,
I hope someone here uses GMPDL.
I am having errors on using Checkmate.
The file is OK when checked on a different machine.
But on my machine, it gives an error on everything.
This just started to happen about a week ago.
Before that, one of our machines had the same problem.
Now both of our machines has the problem.
So what I did is download the required files to reinstall the GM Toolkit. But it did not solve the errors.
Anyone have any idea on how to fix it?
TIA!

If all else fails and you're a GM supplier you can try the GEES Global Service Desk: 1-888-238-1119, or send an email to geescallcenter@eds.com.

RE: GMPDL Checkmate Error
They are both using Windows XP.
I just have the fancy stuff turned off.
The install is now different. The one that is working is using the older 4.2 toolkit.
I am currently using the 5.2 toolkit.
We do not want to upgrade the one that is working until we fix the problem we the other two computers.

RE: GMPDL Checkmate Error
If that doesn't work and you are POSITIVE you're using the same setup (.def, .dat, and all the files that configure the toolkit are IDENTICAL....open them and compare side by side, don't just look at the file names), then I'd call GEES at the number above.
If none of that works, then maybe the upcoming Blockpoint that's moving from 5.2 to 5.4 on 06DEC08 will fix the issue you're having. See the first clip I posted straight from GM's supplier website (gmsupplypower.com) in this thread: http://www
