CUI File never loads

CUI File never loads

CUI File never loads

(OP)
I'm not an AutoCAD expert.  I use it very infrequently here at the office.  There are others here that use it regularly but haven't been able to help.

For some reason in AutoCAD 2006, my CUI file goes missing in action.  I end up having to use "CUILOAD" all the time.

Anyone know how I can fix this?

RE: CUI File never loads

Hi DM2,

You may try just reloading the acad.mnu file and force AutoCAD to recomplie all the menus.

DM2,

did you check the searchpaths? Is the *.cui inside?

I'm not familiar enough to know how to do this...can you give me a pointer?

I'm assuming it's on the search path.  It's stored in the default directory.  When I load it, AutoCAD defaults to the directory where the file is located (i.e. I don't have to navigate to any other directory).  Where do you find the path?

Hi DM2,

At the command line type menuload.  Change the file type .mnu, then follow the bouncing ball...
