No devices in Precision RTL

(OP)
I'm new to PLC's, just finished writing and simulating my first verilog.  But now I'm doing logic synthesis for the first time and running into an issue.  Using Precision, I can't find any devices when I go to "Setup Design".  It just says "No FPGA Devices" and doesn't even show the names of any companies.  I downloaded this software package off of the Atmel website as part of the ProChip suite.   Also the help file seems to be missing.

When opening the program it complained about me using Vista (but still opened).

Might it be an incompatibility with Vista that is causing it to look in the wrong place?  Where do I check to see if the device files exist or if I need to manually download them off the Atmel website?  Also, what is the extension / file type of the files?

Thank you very much.
