Need a definition: Military Standard Hot day
Need a definition: Military Standard Hot day
(OP)
I have been searching for a reference to the term "Military Standard Hot Day". The term was used in calculations for takeoff and landing distances of a given runway.
I have searched ISO and ICAO standards to no avail for a reference. The only reference thus far has been in regards to the Apache Helicopter without a proper definition.
Has anyone else used this term and can you direct me to the reference source for a definitive resolution.

JSSG-2001 stipulates MIL-HDBK-310 1% extreme as "flight operation high temperature," which would be 49 ºC
I don't have all the ADS's, so there may be more there.
