Hello Rerig,

I have just started working in aviation and could use some help.  I saw a posting from back in Feb of '04 where you spoke about turning 2024-T0 into 2024-T42.  I have absolutley no engineering or aviation background and I am quoting this material. What I have been told so far is that we have to order 2024-T0, shape it and then send it away for heat treating to T42 specs.  Is this correct? If so, where are you located? I am in Ontario, Canada and am looking for a facility that does heat treating. Do you know of any such facility in my area? Any information you could provide me with to better understand this would be appreciated. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks for your help!

Emma
