Non-recoverable DP for Eccentric Orifices

Non-recoverable DP for Eccentric Orifices

Non-recoverable DP for Eccentric Orifices

(OP)
Is the non-recoverable DP for an eccentric orifice the same for a concentric orifice when the orifice bore is the same for both types?  If not, is there a published relationship to determine the equivalent bore of an eccentric orifice to result in the same non-recoverable loss as the concentric?  My specific example is a balancing concentric orifice with a bore of 6.92" in a 12" sch 40 pipe.  Can I simply replace the concentric with an eccentric of the same bore and NOT impact the overall DP of the system?
