Hanger reinforcement for joints between RC beams of similar depth?

Hanger reinforcement for joints between RC beams of similar depth?

(OP)
I am detailing the joints between reinforced concrete beams with similar or same depth, i.e. one beam supported by another beam/girder of similar or same depth. It seems current ACI Code does not give any rules for this case. Cannadian Code does has some requirement. What is your practice to deal with this? Thanks.
