Can anybody name any negative consequences to a multiple user set up relying on PDMWorkgroups and a Routing Library location not in PDM if the Routing Library is not in Referenced Documents area?

Joe,
I'm not understanding your question.

We don't use the Reference Documents in the options area. We have all our parts pathed though the Design Library that is linked in PDM Workgroup.

You know Colin, I didn't add anything to this list either, Solidworks did it for me behind my back. Do you have any libraries that aren't allowed to check into PDM or are you running absolutely all of your parts through the vault?

All our stardard part libraries are not checked into PDM and linked through toolbox. They're the parts we use that are not revision controlled like screws, electrical connectors etc...When drag and dropped from the design library into and assembly, they display a toolbox icon in the tree just like a SW toolbox part. Sometimes users sneak in stardard parts into PDM, and I have them pull the assembly from the vault, and add the part to our design library, then refile back into the vault.
