Picture for texture in face style not working

Hi

I'm having a constant error with a picture that I use in a face style as a texture.

The picture load correctly until I close the file completely then when I reopen the link is broken so I go back to the face style and when I select the texture tab I have an error message saying that it failed to load my .jpg Is this a know issue? Is there something to do with this.

Thanks

RE: Picture for texture in face style not working

Where is the jpg and where is the part? Are they in the same folder? Are they on different drives?

Look at the file in revision manager. That may help you understand the links and see the problem.

I have had this problem too.  I found that the jpeg must be stored in the "C:\Program Files\Solid Edge ST\Images\Textures" folder, otherwise the link breaks.

It's weird because yesterday when I was trying to repair the link and making it work the link kept getting broken, then this morning when trying to look at it with rev man as HDS suggested (btw the link to the jpg doesn't show in rev man) I opened the part only (instead of in context of the assembly like yesterday) and the link was good! I didn't change anything besides this and now it's ok. I'm confused! Is it only because I was editing it in context of the assembly?

The .jpg is actually in the exact same folder as the part and I didn't try putting it the the program files folder.

Maybe when I get some more time to play with this I will be able to repeat the error and find it's cause.

Thanks for the help

Patrick
